Yes, he is officially 22 this year. He got a 21st birthday party last year, but this year is a quiet and simple one for him. He cann't imagine that he has been living on the Earth for 22 years already.

It's alright for him because he has his loving parents with him. He can get whatever he wants most of the time. That is the advantage of being the only child.
