i am back from Hong Kong after 5 days trip there. My 1st time to Hong Kong, i went with my parents so i am not really excited about it. Nevertheless, i planned our itenary and i gotta bring them around taking MTR. My 2nd time holiday with my parents, the previous one was to Taiwan, it was with tour guide, so everything was easily settled. this time was free and easy. i got to google all those place of attractions and shopping districts. Not easy to bring them around as it was also my 1st time to Hong Kong as well. :)
After arriving on the 1st day, we went to Wong Tai Sin temple by travelling with MTR. prayed for awhile, and off we go to Telford plaza at Kowloon Bay for some shopping time! nt much stuffs there, and we went to the famous Ladies Street at Mong Kok. it was a long stretch of stalls mainly selling stuffs for ladies, such as bags, belts, caps, shirts etc. Lots of imitation goods there, and you can really bargain like crazy with the vendors. And i had beef balls hor fun for dinner, the beef balls were huge and tasty unlike singapore.

Wong Tai Sin Temple and Ladies Street
2nd day destination was Ocean Park. it is really a freaking huge park! many many escalators, stairs and cable cars somemore. numerous fun and thrilling rides over there, but the queue was super long. you won't be able to finish walking the whole park if you want to finish all the ride in one day. Taking the cable car was quite nice though. can see the whole scenery at the area there, going up and down hills.
After ocean park, we went to the Jardine Cresent and Times Square at Causeway Bay. Did some shopping there, and we went back to Temple Street which was just 2 streets opposite our hotel. Nothing much special there, the stuffs sold were almost identical to those at the Ladies Street. If i am not wrong, i had porridge with pig organs for breakfast and some chicken rice set for dinner? the porridge was nice indeed, recommended from a tour booklet.

Duper cute Panda
Sea Lion show
For 3rd day, I had beef noodle for breakfast. the meals there were always in set meals, so we ate alot everytime. Next we went to Stanley street in the morning. It was quite a long journey taking cab there. If you guys got watch the 7pm show from Channel 8, you will know where is it. Strolled around and we moved to The Peak. Believed it was quite a famous tourist attraction place. Can view the nice nice scenery on top of the peak. Had dim sum for lunch and went citygate after that. Citygate was mainly a shopping mall with factory outlets, but was quite disappointed with it though. Only left those large sizes, so didn't manage to grab anything from there.

Day 4 was at TMT plaza at Tuen Mun, and Victoria Harbour at Tsim Sha Shui. Symphony of Lights, is a synchronised building exterior decorative light and laser multimedia display, featuring 44 buildings on both sides of the Victoria Harbour of Hong Kong accompanied by symphonic music. was really hoping forward to see the show, but not that impressive though. Perhaps we were at the wrong side of the harbour to have the best view.
